UK buyers will be able to get their hands on Hyundai's stylish i40 Estate from September and they will pay from £18,395.
The starter model in the i40 range has a 1.6-litre petrol engine, with a 2.0-litre rounding off the petrol range. Carbon dioxide emissions of 140g/km are emitted from the smaller petrol option and 169g/km from the 2.0-litre.
Emissions are lower with the two 1.7-litre turbodiesel engines, which come in 114- and 134bhp forms. They produce 113- and 119g/km CO2 emissions respectively and the cheapest diesel starts at £19,395.
There are three trim levels, starting with Active that includes Hyundai's Blue Drive technologies such as stop-start to cut the engine when stationary to save fuel. Active models also come with 16-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth, electric windows and electric parking brake.
Mid-level trim is Style that has climate control, touch screen satellite navigation, rear parking sensors and parking camera and cruise control. The Premium is the top model and includes leather upholstery, panoramic sunroof, Lane Departure Warning, Parking Assist and keyless entry.
The i40 Estate goes on sale in September and will be followed by the saloon version at the end of the year. Hyundai's five-year warranty comes as standard with all i40 models.
