The future is orange at smart, or at least it is if you fancy the company's latest special edition. Called nightorange, it's set to be an eye-searing sight on UK roads from this spring.
As the name suggests, the bodywork comes in bright orange, while the smart's exposed chassis frame, 15-inch alloy wheels, door mirrors and radiator grille come in contrasting black.
Inside, the black and orange theme continues with black leather seats with orange stitching.
Only 235 smart fortwo nightoranges will come to the UK, so hardly an orange grove-full of cars. Still, at £9,995 it is one of the least expensive ways to stand out like a Belisha beacon on the high street.
Engine choice is the usual 71- and 84bhp 1.0-litre engines and the nightorange can be had in coupe and cabriolet forms.
