Peugeot will introduce the 3008 HYbrid4 with a 300-off Limited Edition model. Only 35 of that number will come to the UK and it is available to order now at £29,995.
Described as the 'world's first diesel hybrid car' the HYbrid4 uses a 163bhp, 2.0-litre HDi diesel engine combined with a 37bhp electric motor. The result is 'out of town' fuel economy of 74.4mpg and official CO2 emissions of 99g/km.
For the Limited Edition version there are unique exterior and interior touches. The body is finished in Pearl White with chrome door handles and dark tinted headlamps. Inside there is two-tone leather trim including a hide-covered fascia carrying a numbered aluminium plaque. The specification includes a panoramic glass roof and front parking sensors.
Deliveries of the Limited Edition model are due in October. The rest of the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 range will follow in November with prices starting at £26,600.
