If there was any doubt about the target market of Luxgen's latest product there is a clue in the name; the Luxgen7 CEO is aimed at top business people. It is the company's flagship and instead of trying to carry as many passengers as possible it provides plenty of space for two in a luxurious rear compartment.
The two rear seats are covered in nappa leather with massage, ventilation and heating. The rear compartment is designed as a private environment with a division between driver and passengers, tinted windows, curtains and its own climate control system. Other features include a 'cinema-grade' entertainment system with 10.2-inch screen, a folding table in the centre armrest that can support a laptop and storage for books and magazines at the base of the partition.
The styling includes a chrome grille, which Luxgen describes as egg-crate, but which looks more like wire mesh to us. There are also chrome side trims, alloy wheels with seven split spokes and - at the rear - a 'ROYALOUNGE' emblem.
As with other Luxgen7 models it comes with the company's Think+ technology. Developed with smartphone manufacturer HTC it looks after the onboard entertainment, navigation and communication systems.
No sign of the Luxgen brand hitting the UK any time soon.
