Although the new Focus is on its way Ford hasn't quite finished with the old model. The Sport is a special edition with extra equipment.
The ST-style 16-inch alloy wheels identify the Sport model. Extra equipment includes Europe-wide satellite navigation, voice control and auto-headlamps. Ford values the extra kit at £1,500 but the model is priced at just £700 above the Focus Zetec.
Inside, the 'New York Ebony' seat fabric comes from the Titanium specification Focus. Outside, customers can choose from six exterior colours including Vision Blue.
The Sport comes with a choice of 1.6-litre engines, petrol with 99bhp or diesel with 108bhp. With petrol power the model is priced at £16,545, while the TDCi version costs an extra £1,300.
The Sport will be on sale through 2011 alongside the all-new Focus.
