To celebrate the last year of Viper production Dodge has announced a 'Final Edition' limited run model. Just fifty cars will be produced in Roadster, Coupé and ACR (American Club Racer) versions.
Each car gets graphite paint with a black centre stripe outlined in red. The windscreen surround is finished in black and there are unique sill badges. Coupé and Roadster models get six-spoke, anthracite alloy wheels while the ACR features black, five-spoke wheels.
The interior has been jazzed up too with red stitching, a red 'halo' surrounding the instruments and bright stainless steel screws. A numbered plaque on the dashboard confirms each car's place in the series and there are unique floor mats.
Under the bonnet the 8.4-litre V10 is unchanged but 600bhp and 560lb.ft are not figures to be taken lightly. Dodge claims a 0-60mph time of 'less than four seconds' and a top speed of 202mph. The all-American performance benchmark, the standing quarter mile, is in the 'mid 11-second range'.
The run of 50 Final Edition Vipers consists of 20 Coupés, 18 Roadsters and 12 ACRs. The cars will start rolling off the production line this summer.
