With Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton co-signs and the recently unveiled spec and price details, it seems the McLaren MP4-12C is slowly beginning to see the light of day. Now, fans and enthusiasts alike can customise their very own 12C by using the McLaren MP4-12C configurator online at:
www.mclarenautomotive.com.
The 12C configurator has been developed using the information gathered from the McLaren Technology Centre in Woking. McLaren says that customers will be able to choose from millions of different combinations, including the traditional 'McLaren Orange' paint.
There will be 17 different exterior colour options for the 12C, along with eight more finishes from the 'Special' range and a further six colours when choosing the 'Elite' package, which will feature the highest quality finish. The 'Driver Zone' interior option gives the customers the ability to combine Alcantara, leather and carbon fibre inside the cabin.
Customisation for the performance and exterior appearance of the 12C is also available, including carbon ceramic brakes, a lightweight sports exhaust system, engine bay panels and covers dressed in carbon fibre, mirror casings and two different lightweight wheel options.
