A shooting brake conversion by coachbuilders Touring Superleggera that's added space and grace to a Bentley Continental GTC. A coach-built car in the classic tradition, it comes with larger folding rear seats, a capacious and beautifully finished luggage area and hand-crafted aluminium bodywork. The end result is quite stunning.
Why's it here?
A wealthy customer liked the idea of a shooting brake based on a Continental GT and commissioned Superleggera to build it. The car has been built on the stiffer platform of the GTC convertible, with every panel from the A-pillar backwards created by Touring Superleggera's skilled craftsmen and engineers. Based on the 610bhp GTC Speed and costing €590,000 (about £535,000), Touring Superleggera will build you one with any of the engine choices available in the GT line-up. We rather like the idea of a Supersports derived variant...
Show stopper or floor filler?
Absolute show stopper. Such is the interest among Bentley's people at the show we wouldn't be surprised if the organisers have to replace the carpet between the two stands. The entire project was undertaken with Bentley's blessing, with the original car's warranty still applicable and servicing undertaken at any Bentley dealer.
