This is more like it. A motor show wouldn't be complete without a Japanese maker rocking up with something completely mental that makes us come over all befuddled.
The 3-RC is a three-wheel, single-seat mash-up of car and bike. It's battery powered, obviously, and even though it's blatantly a flash in the pan concept, Honda says it's 'revolutionary'.
The battery and electric motor are mounted beneath the driver, so even though it's tall and of small footprint, it should be nice and stable. The driver sits inside a narrow, high scuttle, with a plastic windshield arcing over his head. Honda says it's safe because the sides are so high, effectively placing the driver low in a 'safety cell'.
We've got no idea how much power it has, and in fact we may never do because Honda's not even pretending it's going into production. Mind, this is the sort of thing it wants to make in the future, so it's not completely pointless. It'll be in
Geneva for your viewing pleasure.
