Maserati has announced the arrival of two limited edition versions of the GranTurismo S: a run of twelve cars for the Middle East and a further eleven for Italy. Both cars feature special paint in addition to the performance enhancing MC Sport Line suspension, brakes and aerodynamic modifications.
Maserati launched the GranTurismo S MC Sport Line at an exclusive event at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi. The cars feature a special Matt White 'ICE' finish. The significance of the number is twofold - twelve world titles awarded to the Maserati MC12 since 2005; including Driver's, Constructor's and Team awards. There are also a dozen cities throughout the Middle East with Maserati dealers and each car will carry a plaque with the name of one of those cities.
Another limited edition model is exclusively for the Italian market. Only eleven cars - finished in 'Matt Bianco Fuji' - will be produced. The MC Sport Line limited editions showcase options that are available to all Maserati customers.
The range includes additional aerodynamic parts and improved brakes. There is also lower, stiffer sports suspension for the
GranTurismo S. Cosmetic modifications such as carbon trim, aluminium pedals and gloss black wheels are offered and some of these can also be fitted to the
Quattroporte S and
Sport GT S.
