MTM's new interpretation of the
Audi S4 is something of a beast. It's got 424bhp - that's 96bhp more than the standard output of the 3.0-litre 'V6T' supercharged engine - and packs 380lb.ft of torque. That's a 63lb.ft gain.
The latter figure is the one you'll feel most when you plant the throttle and the MTM S4 rushes to 62mph from a standing start in just 4.7 seconds. The stock S4 does it in 5.1, for shame. The German tuner - full name Motoren Technik Mayer GmbH - provides power hiking upgrades as well as visual addenda for a variety of VW Group brands.
The new S4 features height adjustable suspension, bigger brakes, bigger wheels (up to a ride-ruining 21 inches) and a unique, freer-flowing quad-pipe exhaust setup. It's available to now, with the engine upgrade alone costing around €3,000 (£2,600).
