Porsche has announced a limited run Cayenne, the Cayenne GTS Porsche Design Edition 3. It gets a unique look, special trim extra equipment and comes with Porsche Design accessories.

The first thing you notice about the Cayenne is the Lava Grey paint with black stripes on the sides of the car and over the bonnet. Other features include 21-inch alloy wheels, colour co-ordinated with the body, bi-xenon headlamps and rear privacy glass. The Cayenne GTS badge on the boot has the letter 'S' picked out in red and customers can choose to have a roof spoiler fitted at no extra cost.

Inside, black leather with red stitching adorns the instrument panel doors and seats. The electrically adjusted chairs feature an embossed Porsche logo on the head restraints and Alcantara centre panels. The rev counter, sill kick plates and a numbered plaque in the glove compartment all carry the 'Porsche Design Edition 3' insignia.

Power comes from a 405bhp 4.8-litre V8, which is claimed to take the Cayenne from 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 156mph. A standard sports exhaust gives the Design Edition Cayenne a distinctive sound track while a Bose Surround Sound System provides an alternative form of aural entertainment.

Special Porsche Design accessories are supplied with the Cayenne. A unique Porsche Design Chronograph watch and a four-piece luggage set bearing the 'Porsche Design Edition 3' label are included.

The latest addition to the Porsche range is available to order now and costs £65,753. As with other models a Thatcham Category 5 security package is included and customers can also benefit from a complementary day at Porsche's Driving Experience Centre at Silverstone.
