This is the Arash AF10, the brainchild of British based Iranian entrepreneur Arash Farboud, and evidently the product of a designer who's spent a lot of time studying the Ferrari Enzo and the Porsche Carrera GT.
The £172,000 machine is powered by the 7.0-litre V8 found in the Corvette Z06 tuned to push out 530bhp - selected partly because spares will be easy to get hold of. Nestled inside a body and chassis both made of carbon fibre, a new induction system and freer flowing exhaust provide the extra oomph.
It means the car breaks the 60mph barrier from standstill in 3.4 seconds before maxing out at a claimed 204mph. Active front and rear wings will keep things planted. And it's got scissor doors, too.
These images are the best look yet at the production AF10, which will be hand built at a rate of 25 per year in Farboud's Cambridge plant, guaranteeing exclusivity for the lucky few.
Those few will get a leather interior, touch screen satnav and a rear parking camera, along with a lot of carbon fibre trim, most probably.
And for those looking for yet more pace, a supercharged AF10-S is on the way, producing at least 850bhp, gunning for the Ferrari FXX and hitting gated driveways in 2010.
