Hurst, an American tuning company that made its name with customised gear shifters, is introducing a special edition Dodge Hemi Challenger.
The basis for the special is an SRT8 model, which Hurst, through participating Dodge dealerships, can take to 500bhp depending on which of the four performance packages a customer chooses. A Hurst pistol-grip shifter is also included, as well as branded wheels, gold stripes and Hurst logos.
It will debut at
SEMA, a trade-only show that runs in Las Vegas this November. First cars are scheduled for production early next year with a $10,000-$20,000 premium over the standard price. No confirmation whether any will come to the UK is available.
