| World debut | 2008 British International Motor Show | Subaru Impreza WRX-S |
It's begun: Subaru has started tweaking the new Impreza. In London the WRX-S arrived: a 252bhp version of the standard WRX. It gains 15bhp over its regular relative, dropping the 0-62mph time from 6.1 seconds to 5.5 seconds. As ever there are some styling changes to denote the under-bonnet revisions, the WRX-S getting front and rear spoilers, GT1 alloy wheels and a limited-slip rear differential among other extra equipment. It's all yours for just £2,500 more than the standard car.
