What's all this about?
Renault has taken the best-selling version of the electric Zoe E-Tech range, the GT-Line, and added some very desirable extras. The Riviera Limited Edition features exclusive exterior details, including Midnight Blue Metallic I.D paint for the first time as standard on any Zoe, 16-inch Seidon diamond-cut alloy wheels and painted white body stripes. Only 300 examples of the Riviera will be made.
So, changes are just skin deep?
Not quite. The Riviera also comes with a semi-autonomous hands-free parking aid to ensure that the Zoe E-Tech is now more manoeuvrable than ever. This adds to an already comprehensive list of standard safety equipment including front and rear parking sensors with rear view camera, lane keep assist and lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking system, blind spot warning, speed limiter and cruise control.
What other equipment is there?
A 10-inch digital screen for the instruments is fitted, as is the 9.3-inch Easy Link infotainment system incorporating navigation and smartphone integration in the forms of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic air conditioning and part-recycled cloth, part synthetic leather upholstery.
Is it a good EV?
The Zoe has a range of up to 238 miles (according to WLTP standards) from its 52kWh battery. Added to that, all Zoes come with Renault's five-year/100,000-mile warranty, plus an eight-year/100,000-mile warranty for the battery.
I want Renault to take all my money.
That's great because the Renault Zoe E-Tech Riviera is available to order now at all Renault dealerships and is priced at £32,295 on-the-road after the Plug-in Car Grant.
