What's all this about?

Bavarian-based tuning firm Novitec has come up with a programme of upgrades and visual amendments for the Lamborghini Huracan Evo. They amount to a fully aero-optimised suite of naked-carbon body parts, tougher suspension springs, a couple of upgraded exhaust systems, some tasty big alloys and also the promise of full personalisation for the interior.

OK, what are we going to talk about first?

Let's look at the exterior package. The Novitec-tweaked car you can see in the images has the full bare carbon effect going on, but the German tuning house says you can have these parts painted in the same colour as the body of your Huracan Evo, or even in a contrast colour. The bits to focus your eyes on, though, are the front splitter, aero extensions and side plates in the lower airdam at the nose of the Lambo, then the rocker panels, door mirror caps and the side intakes near the windows (these intakes are enlarged from the factory items, too) along the Huracan's flanks, and finally - at the back - there's a slatted carbon engine cover with an airscoop at the top and that unmissable fixed spoiler. Further visual amendments come in the form of three forged alloy wheel designs from US firm Vossen, known as the Novitec NL4s (the ones in the photo) and NL1s. The NL4s can optionally have a centre-lock fixing, rather than the five-stud pattern, while tyres are 245/30 ZR20 front, 325/25 ZR12 rear Pirelli P Zeros, to match the mismatched wheel sizes on the two axles.

What about the suspension and exhaust?

The former is handled by Novitec Sport Springs, which also drop the Lambo's ride height by 35mm. The latter comes courtesy of the Novitec Race high-performance exhaust, which comes in either stainless-steel or full Inconel, which is a material used in Formula 1 and which brings a golden sheen to the Lambo's exhaust system. Either set-up can be teamed to Novitec's carbon-fibre exhaust tips and these items can also be fitted to the standard factory pipes if you so wish. And finally, back with aesthetic concerns, Novitec has a full array of the finest leather and Alcantara available to customers, which can be rendered in 'any desired colour' they so wish.
