This vision in gold is called the Touring Superleggera Sciadipersia Cabriolet. It's a four-seat, coachbuilt Maserati that was present at this year's Geneva Motor Show in Night Blue, but which is now rendered in Sand over Ochre and Cream with a Sunray-stitched interior for the Concorsa d'Eleganza at the Villa d'Este, an annual showcase of the grandest cars in the world at the famous venue on the shores of Italy's Lake Como. Powered by the nat-asp V8 that you'd find in a GranTurismo, the Sciadipersia is up for the Design Award at the 90th running of the Concorso, thanks to its Kamm tail, defined profile styling and dramatic front end. The cabin features a bold horizontal line that demarcates the light-and-shade finishing of the interior, and Milan-based carrozzeria Touring has good form in the Design Award - it has won it many times, most notably in recent years with the Coupe (2013) and Spyder (2016) versions of the stunning Alfa Romeo Disco Volante.
