McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has come up with a High-Downforce Kit (HDK) for the 570S and its Spider derivative. The HDK is available through the McLaren Genuine Accessory range and comprises a rear wing plus a set of underfloor guide vanes, all to better direct airflow around the car to ensure 'optimum aerodynamic balance is maintained'. The HDK lobs another 75kg of downforce into the mix and it also looks pretty cool, what with that big rear wing finished in Visual Carbon Fibre. It'll cost you £7,950 including VAT to have it fitted and you can find out more at https://cars.mclaren.com/ownership/high-downforce-kit. Carl Whipp, McLaren's global aftersales director, said: "We are constantly looking for opportunities to make the latest and very best designs and technologies available not only to new car buyers but also to customers who already own a McLaren. The new MSO Defined High Downforce Kit is a perfect example of this ethos, offering both a transformative visual enhancement and dynamic benefits."
