It's midlife facelift time for the Audi Q7 Mk2 and the German company has made the big seven-seat SUV look quite different from the pre-facelift Mk2. Revised lamps clusters are notable fore and aft, especially on the back, where they're joined by a new chrome strip, while the 'Singleframe' grille bears six vertical slats for maximum 'get outta my way' rear-view-mirror motorway aggression. The side sills and the air intakes are redesigned, while inside, the Q7 now sports the lovely three-screen digital dashboard set-up of all high-end Audis. Extra connectivity and driver assist technology is thrown in, as is mild hybrid technology for the two (as yet unspecified) diesel engines that will form the updated Q7's launch line-up when it goes on sale in mid-September. As seen on the monster SQ7, all-wheel steering and active anti-roll control will be offered across the Q7 board, and all seven-seat Q7s (that means all UK cars, as the five-seat versions are only sold on the continent) gain air suspension as standard. For the S line variants, this is 15mm lower and 'sportier' in tune.
