What's all this about?
Citroen has its sights on young drivers who want a sporty-looking car with affordable running costs. The new C1 Furio goes on sale from 1st August with a £10,885 price tag; it is the latest in a line of motorsport-inspired small cars including the AX Sport, Saxo Furio and the C2 'By Loeb'.
What do you get?
The three-door hatchback body is available in Lipizzan White or Carlinite Grey metallic paint. To help the C1 Furio stand out there are black, 15-inch alloy wheels, body side graphics, a rear diffuser and centre exhaust pipe. Sunrise red door mirrors and wheel centre caps provide a touch of colour.
On the inside there is 'Wave Grey' upholstery and the instrument panel gains a rev counter. The Furio is based on the 'Feel' trim level so expect similar levels of equipment.
What's under the bonnet?
Two powertrain options are offered, the VTi 68 and the PureTech 82, both with manual transmissions. The more powerful PureTech engine carries a £350 price premium.
