What's all this about?
This time last year, we were treated to a peek at the Alpine Vision concept car. Previewing the historic marque's return to the showrooms of the 21st century, it's a re-visioning of Alpine's most famous model, the A110 Berlinette of the 1970s.
What's this I'm looking at, then?
Well, these pictures are the first official images of the production version of the two-seater sports car, to be called (yes, you guessed it) the A110 - and, as you can see, its appearance has deviated very little from the concept of 2016.
Do you approve of the lack of change?
We do: this is A Very Good Thing, because it's a glorious-looking machine. And Alpine, a subsidiary of Renault, says the A110 has 'a full aluminium platform and upper body' for maximum weight-saving and agility. If it drives anything like as good as it looks, then the Alpine A110 could be a cracker.
So... Geneva. Right?
Right. It will be fully unveiled at the Swiss extravaganza and we'll bring you all the details as they break.
