What's all this about?
Mazda has announced a limited edition Mazda3 with sporty looks; just 800 examples of the Mazda3 Sport Black are available. The first cars are due to arrive on 1st April priced from £20,995.
What do you get?
Available only in the hatchback body style, the Sport Black edition comes in Soul Red Metallic or Snowflake White Pearlescent paint. Colour co-ordinated styling accessories include a front splitter, side skirts and rear spoiler in Brilliant Black. Completing the package is a set of 18-inch, gunmetal-coloured alloy wheels.
Inside, there are black seats upholstered in half leather, half suede. Other extras include a Bose surround sound system, dual-zone climate control and an integrated navigation system.
What's under the bonnet?
Power comes from a 2.0-litre, 'SkyActiv-G' direct-injection petrol engine with 120hp. This drives through a six-speed manual gearbox and is said to return 55.4mpg with CO2 emissions of 119g/km.
