What's all this about?Fiat has launched a range of accessories for the 500X crossover under the Mopar brand. There are colour-coded cosmetic additions along with practical items such as roof bars and boot liners. Customers can choose individual parts or one of eight 'Xtra Packs' that bundle items together for greater value.
What can you get?
According to Fiat there are over 100 accessories available for the 500X. There is a range of 18-inch alloy wheels in a choice of finishes including machined silver with white recesses, red with black recesses and all-black; the wheels cost £816 for a set of four, excluding fitting and tyres. Other cosmetic accessories include colour-coded door mirror fairings for £61 plus fitting; and decals in a variety of styles with side decals priced from £81 and roof or bonnet decals starting at £127.
Six 'Xtra Pack' kits, comprising matching bonnet/roof stripes, mirror fairings and door moulding inserts, are available for £305 (saving almost £100 on the cost of the individual parts). There are white, red, bronze, beige and black packs plus a Chrome Xtra Pack - for Pop, Pop Star and Lounge only - with bright fog light trims and a chrome bonnet moulding.
Practical extras include a detachable tow bar, a tow bar mounted bike carrier and roof bars. Options for roof-mounted storage include a 360-litre Freebox for £259 and sports equipment systems available from £112. Fiat 500X owners who go skiing can take advantage of the Winter Xtra Pack with roof bars and an adaptor to carry skis or snowboards plus a moulded cargo bay protector. There is also a Summer Xtra Pack comprising roof bars, cargo tray and bike carrier; currently available for £235, saving £78 over the cost of the individual items.
