What's this all about?
Renault - like most of the motor industry at the moment - is preparing for the Geneva Motor Show, which is less than two weeks away. We already know about the Kadjar crossover, but that's not the only Renault announcement lined up for 3rd March when the show opens to the press.
What else is there?
The 2015 Espace, which made its debut last year at the Paris Motor Show, will be on display. There is also a new electric motor for the Zoe and, perhaps most intriguingly, a new Renaultsport variant. Chances are that it will be the Twingo Renaultsport since that is the one model currently missing from the company's hot hatch range.
Expect to see a more powerful version of the existing 0.9-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged engine; the Twingo's rear-engined architecture means there isn't room for anything larger. The output might not match the old, front-engined, Twingo Renaultsport, but expectations are that it will have between 110- and 120hp.
Spy shots suggest that the sporty Twingo will sit a little lower on larger wheels than the standard model and it is possible that some of the styling cues from the Twin'Run concept will be adopted, although the concept's mid-mounted V6 engine is thought to be out of the question.
Anything from Dacia?
To mark the tenth anniversary of the brand's revival a limited edition model will be unveiled in Geneva.
