What's the news?
Ginetta has confirmed that it will be exhibiting at Salon Privé on 4th-6th September with a G40R and G60 on display. The exhibition is intended to show the diversity of the company's products, which are manufactured in Yorkshire.
One of the themes of Salon Privé is bespoke production and Ginetta is keen to demonstrate that the G60 boasts technology specifically for that model. The suspension was designed in-house by the company's own CAD team while the ECU and harness wiring are 'tailor made for improved reliability'. Fitted with a 310hp engine in a lightweight carbon fibre body the G60 is claimed to do 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds and 165mph.
Based on the G40 racing car the G40R is described as 'a race car for the road' with 200hp and a 0-62mph time that's just a second more than the G60's.
Anything else?
Ginetta is also launching a clothing collection at Salon Privé, Ginetta Lifestyle. Each piece is made in the UK and described as 'the perfect wardrobe whether at the circuit, going on a road trip or everyday life'.
