The 2013 Salon Privé event, that will be running from 4th-6th September at London's Syon Park, looks to be bigger and better than ever before. This year's exhibition will feature a number of manufacturers never before seen at the show, new events, new displays, and the show's biggest Luxury Retail Village to date.
Brand new to Salon Privé is the Audemars Piguet British Supercar Show. Here, a long list of confirmed manufacturers will display their latest and greatest models. Companies such as Bentley, Harley-Davidson, Maserati and Overfinch will rock up in their brand new offerings; as well as appearances from debuting UK manufacturers such as Zagato, Clark Abel and Spyker.
In addition, the Audemars Piguet Show plays host to two more events: The Hypercar Collection and The Concepts and Prototypes Display. The former of these two exhibitions provides a collection of the most expensive and fastest cars on the planet; while the latter showcases new developments and potential future models including the Alfa Romeo Zagato TZ3 and the Ford Evos.
Also new is the Royal College of Art's 'Concours of the Future' show. Here, ten undergraduates take previous Concours winners and mould them into modern-day examples. The winner of the design contest will be invited to Milan for a behind-the-scenes look and masterclass at the Zagato Design Studio by Andrea Zagato.
As well as new, there is a return of the familiar. The Chubb Insurance Concours d'Elegance will begin judging on the 4th September, and will celebrate significant anniversaries for Aston Martin, Porsche and Lamborghini. The judging panel will be led once again by Derek Bell MBE; and is to be made up by the likes of Vicki Butler-Henderson, Murray Walker OBE, Sandra Button and Andrea Zagato.
The Tour d'Elegance also returns but this time as a full-day event. Starting at Epsom's Woodcote Park, the convoy will take in a number of iconic motoring locations before finishing at the Hilton London Syon Park.
The Luxury Retail Village has grown for the 2013 show as well; featuring appearances from brand names such as Boodles, Grand Prix Originals, Justerini & Brooks and Robusto House Cigars.
Even more information will be revealed in the coming months...
