What's the news?
Skoda has announced details of the new Citigo Sport - a trim level that brings all the looks of a higher performance model with none of the pesky insurance implications.
Exterior
Three colour combinations will be offered on the Citigo Sport - Candy White with red stripes, Tornado Red with black stripes and Deep Black with red stripes - with all cars sporting black 15-inch alloy wheels, smoked fog lights and tinted windows. Discrete spoilers front and rear and a sports suspension that lowers the Citigo by 15mm add to the overall 'sportiness'.
Interior
Based on the Citigo SE, the Sports boasts black and red sports seats, a three-spoke leather steering wheel and a two-tone black and grey dashboard over and above standard SE spec.
Mechanicals
While the Citigo Sport has all the looks of a miniature vRS model it actually packs a 60hp three-cylinder 1.0-litre petrol engine, so is perfect for those who want the looks but not the insurance premiums associated with sports models.
Anything else?
The Skoda Citigo Sport is available to order now from £10,290 for the three-door version and £10,640 for the five-door model.
