What's the news?

To launch the Black Design Pack for the Evoque Dynamic Land Rover has produced the Sicilian Yellow Limited Edition Evoque. Available to order now, having made their debut at the Brussels Motor Show on 10th January, the limited edition models feature yellow and black paint. The Black Design Pack will be available from April 2013.

Exterior

The special edition is available in both three-door coupé and five-door body styles. Customers have a choice of colour schemes: Sicilian Yellow body with Santorini Black roof and mirrors or black body with yellow roof and mirrors.

Key elements of the Black Design Pack include a rear spoiler, darkened headlamps, 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels, clear tail lamps, black bumper inserts and black 'Range Rover' lettering. The Design Pack can be ordered independently from the limited edition.

Interior

Yellow contrasting stitching is used on the seats, door trims and fascia. The dashboard gets an yellow anodised insert in front of the passenger seat.

Mechanicals

Three engine options are available for the UK market. A 2.2-litre diesel is offered in 150- or 190hp guises with two- or four-wheel drive respectively - the latter coming with the option of an automatic transmission. There is also a 240hp petrol engine available only with automatic and all-wheel drive.

Anything else?

In its first full year Land Rover has sold over 100,000 Evoques and reports increasing sales worldwide. Deliveries of the Sicilian Yellow Limited Edition will begin in May.
