What's the news?
Skoda has released details of the Superb Outdoor. Based on the Superb SE Estate it comes with all-wheel drive and off-road looks.
Exterior
Protective plastic strips are fitted to the base of the doors, bumpers and around the wheel arches. Alloy wheels are standard, as is tinted glass behind the B-pillar.
Interior
The Outdoor gets extra equipment including a leather, multi-function steering wheel, Bluetooth and Hill-Hold Control.
Mechanicals
Three engines are available: a 1.8-litre TSI petrol with 160hp and a 2.0-litre TDI with either 140- or 170hp. The less powerful diesel unit comes with a DSG automatic transmission. Official fuel economy and emissions figures for the 170hp motor are 44.8mpg and 165g/km.

Superb Outdoor prices range from £26,465 to £28,100.
