What's the news?
German tuning company Loder1899 has created a new styling package for the Ford Focus Estate. The company has previously released styling upgrades for the Focus hatchback, and this is its first attempt to spice up the estate model.
Exterior
A roof spoiler, side skirts and large rear diffuser are the most noticeable enhancements made to the model. The aggressive front-end styling tweaks are largely carried forward from the hatchback. New alloy wheels are available, ranging from 17-20 inches in diameter. Loder1899 has also given customers the choice between single and twin sports exhaust packages.
Interior
As no details have been released regarding any changes to the inside, it can be assumed that the model will be offered with Ford's standard high-quality interior.
Mechanicals
To add some performance to complement the new body kit, Loder1899 has released a sports suspension package for the Focus, dropping the ride height by 35mm over the standard model. Power enhancements are also available for diesel models by tweaking the engine management system, meaning that power will be increased from 140- to 195hp for the 2.0 TDCi engine.
Anything else?
The complete Loder1899 package will add about £3,100 to the list price of a standard Focus Estate, bringing the price of a 2.0 TDCi model up to £22,800.
