The radiator grille surround and 'fender vents' are painted Indus Silver with the grille vanes in body colour in a reversal of the usual finish. Special Edition Discoverys can also be identified by 20-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels.
Inside there is Ebony or Ivory leather with hide covering the fascia top, instrument binnacle and door trim. Dark Zebrano veneer and luxury carpet mats complete the package.
Customers can choose to add an optional Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 Premium Audio system. Rear seat passengers are promised a 'home cinema' experience thanks to eight-inch screens and wireless headphones. The package also includes rear privacy glass and a front centre console cooler box.
Power comes from the 256hp SDV6 diesel engine, which is claimed to take the Discovery from 0-60mph in 8.8 seconds and on to 112mph.
Land Rover UK Managing Director, Jeremy Hicks described the HSE Luxury edition as taking the Discovery 4's comfort and luxury "to the next level".
