Lotus has announced that it will open a flagship store on London's prestigious Regent Street later this year. However, unlike some of the neighbouring automotive outlets buyers will not be able to buy a car from the store, as 52 Regent Street will house apparel from the Lotus Originals range.
The new shop, the third after units at Lotus' Hethel HQ and Norwich City Football Club's Carrow Road stadium, will sell the full range of apparel, accessories, gifts, toys, and limited edition collectables and is said to 'preview the new Lotus lifestyle that the future Lotus car line-up reflects, appealing to Lotus fans and shopaholics alike.'
Wiebke Bauer Director of Licensing & Retail for Group Lotus said, "We are delighted to secure this iconic location, it's the result of many months of careful planning and negotiations."
"The completion of this milestone really demonstrates the success of the Lotus Originals offering and the potential we have for the future. This is the cornerstone of our global retail strategy and we have lots to look forward to."
When open the 4,800 square foot store will be located just a stone's throw away from Ferrari's flagship UK merchandising outlet.
