With nonchalance more usually afforded for an end-of-life model Chrysler rather apologetically rolled out its new MPV concept at Detroit. Named 700C we know little about the oddly-styled show car apart from its name, as Chrysler has so far remained quiet about the multi-seat machine. What is evident on the stand is the 700C's extrovert, rather awkward styling, with an unusual side window treatment clearly delineating the driver and rear passenger compartment.
That rear is accessed by large sliding doors, and inside there's a three-row seating layout, the middle row giving walk-through access to the rearmost seats. Nothing more has been said by Chrysler except it's been brought along to 'gauge interest' from press and public alike.
As such there's no information on what's under the bonnet, but there's speculation that the concept is electrically powered. If Chrysler lets us know any different we'll let you know.
