Cadillac's CTS Coupé may have more appeal for retirees down Florida way, but when tuning firm Hennessey gets its hand on one, the result is a 1,000bhp monster.
The Hennessey V1000 Twin-Turbo comes with a full 1,000bhp version of the Cadillac's 7.0-litre V8. As the name confirms, there are two turbochargers, which boost power to four figures. It also sees off 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds and nudges 230mph, so it's definitely not for the average blue-rinse retiree in Miami.
Hennessey upgrades almost every component in the engine, along with 25mm lower suspension and 384mm ceramic brake discs all round. They sit inside 20-inch alloy wheels and the body features a carbon fibre aerodynamic pack.
Inside, the V1000 is decked out in Alcantara and leather, with Hennessy stitching. No word on price just yet, but the company plans on building only 12 of the V1000 Twin-Turbos.
