Alfa Romeo has announced a range of updates for the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde. The facelifted car will be on display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed from today (July 1).
At the front there is a new valance, designed to give the car a wider, lower look while the fog lamps get matt black surrounds. The front wings now wear brushed aluminium badges carrying the four-leaf clover design. The wheels are now 18-inches in diameter (up one inch on the previous version) with 215/40 R18 tyres. A new pearlescent, satin effect material is used on the exterior mirrors, door handles and head- and tail lamp surrounds.
On the inside the sports seats now feature a centre panel in Alcantara and two-tone stitching on the side seams. Green and white stitching is used on the steering wheel, gear lever and hand brake. Carbon fibre-backed bucket seats, upholstered in Alcantara, are an option.
Alfa claims that the Synaptic Damping Control (SDC) Active Suspension system further improves the MiTo Quadrifoglio's agility and handling. Control of the suspension is linked to the D.N.A. (Dynamic, Normal and All Weather) system.
The Cloverleaf's 170bhp, 1.4-litre MultiAir engine is unchanged. Key performance claims are 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds, a 136mph top speed, 47.1mpg combined cycle fuel economy and 139g/km CO2 emissions.
Sales of the updated MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde are due to start in late July/early August priced at £18,755.
