Over here, over powered and, well, very reasonably priced, the Chevrolet Camaro is set to hit the UK in early 2012 with a price tag of £34,995.
That's good value for a car packing 426bhp from a 6.2-litre V8 engine. If you want to ruffle your hair some more, there's also a convertible version of the Camaro arriving at the same time with prices from £39,995.
Chevrolet has fine-tuned the Camaro's suspension for European roads and all UK versions will come with 20-inch alloy wheels and uprated Brembo brakes. Inside, the Camaro has leather seats with electric adjustment and a Bluetooth connection.
Options for the Camaro will include bonnet stripes, different interior finishes, a sunroof, polished alloy wheels and an automatic gearbox that will cost £1,500 extra.
To celebrate the Camaro's forthcoming arrival in the UK, touring car racer Jason Plato is driving one of the muscle cars up the hillclimb at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.
