Jensen International Automotive will show the Interceptor R and the latest Interceptor R Supercharged, at this year's Salon Privé. The company takes classic Jensen Interceptors (built 1966-1993) and rebuilds them with modern components.
Both versions feature a 6.2-litre Chevrolet Corvette V8. The R Supercharged variant boasts a blown version of the engine with power quoted as 'over 600bhp', which is roughly twice what the original Interceptor could muster. It is just as well that the reworked cars also boast updated suspension and new brakes by AP.
A naturally aspirated Interceptor R will take part in the Super Sportscar Parade alongside models from Aston Martin, Bugatti, Ferrari and Rolls-Royce.
Salon Privé runs from 22-24 June in the grounds of Syon House in London.
