Arrinera supercar from Poland
Poland's first supercar has arrived in the shape of the Arrinera - with help from Lee Noble.

The Arrinera is Poland's first supercar and it comes packing a 638bhp supercharged 6.2-litre V8 engine. It also has the hand of Britain's Lee Noble, supercar designer extraordinaire, helping to guide its final development.

Arrinera won't say where the engine has come from, though it seems almost certain to be a Chevrolet Corvette motor. There are no official performance figures either as yet, but the company is hoping for 0-62mph in around 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 200mph.

First seen as the Veno in 2008, the Arrinera takes much of its inspiration from Lamborghini and has "scissor" style doors that hinge upwards. The bodywork is made from carbon fibre and is placed over a tubular steel chassis.

Brakes for the Arrinera are carbon ceramic discs all round, while 19-inch alloy wheels are fitted at the front and 20-inch alloys at the rear.

Inside, the Arrinera has all of the expected supercar leather and luxury, with added aluminium and carbon fibre trim.

No word on when the Arrinera will go on sale, but with Lee Noble on board as a technical consultant, the Polish supercar should make full production. Arrinera says it will announce prices and full specifications closer to the car's official launch.
