Audi R8 V10 owners in the UK who feel their car is just a bit short on power can now order the STaSIS R8 V10 Challenge Extreme Edition that packs 710bhp.
The STaSIS-tuned R8 uses a supercharger to boost power of the 5.2-litre V10 engine from the standard car's 518bhp. An Eaton supercharger works with a charge cooler and new intake plenum that is machined from a solid billet of aluminium.
A new exhaust is added to the STaSIS package too, while the brakes are uprated with 390mm front discs and 355mm rears. The suspension is also lowered and the car sits over 20-inch alloy wheels.
STaSIS reckons its Audi R8 conversion remains civilised enough for normal road use, even though 0-62mph now takes just 3.1 seconds compared to the standard Audi's 3.7 seconds. No word on top speed, but it should top 200mph easily. Cost of all this power comes out at £45,000 on top of the price of the base Audi R8 V10.
