Prices for the new Land Rover Discovery have been announced. The Discovery will cost from £26,995 to £46,995 when it goes on sale on November 1st. The cheapest model, the TDV6 5-seater will offer 17” alloys and a 6-speed box as standard but forgoes the groundbreaking Terrain Response system. The cheapest variant offering that system is £2,000 more, but also features air suspension as standard.
The range topping HSE versions offer satnav, leather, climate control, xenon lights, 19” rims and a quality hi-fi install. Land Rover has also confirmed that the Discovery will be placed in insurance groups from 13 for the TDV6 to 16 for the top of the range V8 HSE. Further good news is the predicted excellent residuals of the new model with analysts predicting a whopping 54.6% retention of list price after 3 years.
