Skoda has announced a limited edition, entry-level Octavia. Prices for the 1.6 MPI SE start at £10,995 on-the-road, though just 2,000 cars are available at this price.
Standard equipment includes 15-inch alloy wheels, a touch-screen stereo, electric windows all round and heated door mirrors.
The 1.6-litre petrol engine develops 101bhp and Skoda describes it as offering 'excellent performance and low running costs'. That translates into performance claims of 0-62mph in 12.3 seconds and a top speed of 118mph. Fuel economy is 38.2mpg on the combined cycle with CO2 emissions of 166g/km.
