Porsche is set to draw the crowds to its stand at the
Geneva Motor Show this year. The star will undoubtedly be the world premiere of its new "parallel full hybrid model", as yet unnamed.
This is the latest phase of the German manufacturer's "Porsche Intelligent Performance" philosophy.
Following up the world premiere of the new hybrid model will be the European premiere of Porsche's racing car concept, the
918 RSR hybrid. The mid-engined coupé combines the design of the 918 Spyder with the technology of the Porsche 911 GT3 R hybrid racing car.
Porsche is also showcasing the 330hp Cayman R in Europe for the first time.
Black Editions of the
911 and
Boxster model lines round off the display in
Geneva, with an appropriate 1,911 units of the 345bhp former, and 987 of the 320bhp latter to be produced.
You'll have full details of the new Porsche hybrid as soon as we get them.
