The first official pictures of the Maybach Coupé, by German engineering company Xenatec, have been released. Just 100 examples will be built with a £586,000 price.
The Coupé is based on the Maybach 57S and produced with the approval of parent company Daimler. It features the latest front-end styling in common with the rest of the Maybach range, but with changes to the wings and bumpers. Other changes include the more sporting rake of the front and rear windows and the two-door profile.
Mechanically it is pretty much identical to the saloon, which means there is a 6.0-litre, twin-turbo V12 under the bonnet. It also means that the Coupé can be specified with most of the range of Maybach options.
