This sharp looking thing is the Furtive-eGT, a new French coupé from Exagon, a company new to the road car business. It's due on sale before the end of 2012.
It's an electric car of the range extender type, which means it has a small petrol generator backing up the batteries, but the wheels are driven by electric power.
The 2+2 coupé is set to debut at the
Paris Motor Show and has been developed by some of engineering's true heavyweights, including Siemens and Michelin.
Power is from twin electric motors pushing out about 168bhp each, allowing the car to sprint to 62mph from zero in a claimed 3.5 seconds. With a full charge it will cover an impressive 250 miles.
It takes around 25 litres of petrol to fill the tank and extend the range by 250 miles.
