Skoda will show a full range of second-generation GreenLine models at the
Paris Motor Show. Eco-friendly versions of the Yeti crossover and Superb Estate will make their debut at the show.
Both the Yeti and Superb use a 105bhp 1.6-litre TDI motor, also fitted to the Octavia GreenLine. Skoda claims a 0-62mph time of 12.1 seconds and top speed of 109mph for the Yeti. Combined fuel economy is 61.4mpg with 119g/km CO
2 emissions. The Superb (in both saloon and estate forms) is more efficient, at 64.2mpg and 114g/km.
Features such as start-stop and brake energy recuperation contribute to the low fuel consumption and are also fitted to the 1.2-litre engine in the Roomster and Fabia GreenLine models. The Roomster returns 67.3mpg while the Fabia manages 83.1mpg in both hatchback and estate form.
The new versions of the Yeti and Superb Estate give Skoda a GreenLine version of every model in its range. Launch dates and prices for the new models are still to be confirmed. The
Paris Motor Show opens to the press on 30 September.
