It's that time of year again and the 2010 Goodwood Revival is just around the corner - taking place from September 17 - 19 on the grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex.
The Revival hopes to build on the success of last year's event, when 134,000 people attended over the weekend. To cater for more of the same this year, organisers have added additional grandstand seats, as well as an additional access tunnel to the inner circuit paddock areas.
Visitors of all ages have a chance to revel in the glamour of motor racing as it used to be, with many indulging in the spirit of the event by dressing in period clothing from the 1940s, '50s and '60s.
The restored circuit at Goodwood is unchanged from its heyday (1948-1966), and every effort has been taken to recreate the original ambience - and this means no modern-day vehicles are allowed within the circuit perimeter. Along with all the motoring bustle of 16 trophy races, live music and culinary delights from the 1950s will be on offer for visitors to enjoy.
To ensure a family day out, other events such as celebrity races, over-head air displays and acting shows are also planned.
