Life must be a real bore for Fernando Alonso; the two-times Formula 1 World Champion is a Scuderia Ferrari driver and won his first race for the team at the Bahrain GP, and now the Spaniard has unveiled his new car to the world: a
Maserati GranCabrio.
The four-seat convertible has been designed by Pininfarina, while the engine is a 4.7-litre V8 delivering 434bhp. Fernando Alonso has opted for 'Granite Grey' paint for the body of the GranCabrio. Moving to the interior, this has been fitted with two-tone 'Pearl Beige' and 'Bordeaux' leather upholstery.
Apparently, Alonso was impressed with the amount of room that the GranCabrio offers inside; a good job too considering this is the first four-seat convertible Maserati has ever produced. The roof folds in 28 seconds and because it is canvas there is a choice of six colours.
The Maserati GranCabrio will be available in April, with prices starting at £95,510.
