Farbio has been producing the GTS400 for a few years now and Ginetta has decided to buy out the firm and re-brand its 410bhp sports car as the F400. Along with this acquisition, Ginetta now wants to further develop its carbon fibre component facility by utilising its motorsport background.
Managing Director, Chris Marsh, has stated that he is happy to now be part of the Ginetta infrastructure: "Both companies will mutually benefit from their individual qualities and strengths."
Along with the F400, Ginetta also offers the G40, which has a 1.8-litre, 140bhp Ford Zetec engine, with the car itself weighing a light 850kg.
Prices for the F400 are set to be around £90,000.
