Cadillac has hinted at its plans for the
North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in January.
To build suspense very little information has been revealed. What we do know is that a new concept will be unveiled that continues the brand's 'Art and Science' philosophy. There is speculation that the un-named vehicle could be a new flagship model for General Motors' luxury division.
The other new offering for Detroit is the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupé. It combines the body of the two-door CTS - launched in
Los Angeles at the start of December - with the 6.2-litre supercharged V8 from Cadillac's performance flagship.
Full details of the concept car will be revealed at the NAIAS on 12th January. The CTS-V Coupé will go into production in summer 2010, which suggests an on-sale date of late summer or early autumn. No word yet on right-hand drive production.
